O PRAQUÊ DO MARIDO

O encanador Raimundo Nonato é contratado pela esposa de um juiz muito ocupado para resolver um problema de vazamento na pia da cozinha de sua casa. No momento em que está consertando o vazamento, o encanador é surpreendido pela chegada inesperada do juiz. O doutor fica sabendo que sua mulher tinha ido à padaria, portanto, deixara aquele estranho sozinho, em sua casa. Logo se inicia um diálogo tenso entre os dois, em que o juiz, assustado, e cada vez mais ameaçador, vai descobrindo o que aquele homem significa para sua mulher. Raimundo Nonato é mais que um simples encanador.

 

THE HUSBAND’S WHY

The plumber Raimundo Nonato is hired by a very busy judge’s wife to solve a leak problem in the kitchen sink of her house. At the moment he is repairing the leak, the plumber is surprised by the unexpected arrival of the judge. The judge knows that his wife had gone to the bakery, so she had left that stranger guy alone in her house. Soon, a tense dialogue begins between the two men, in which the judge, frightened, and increasingly threatening, is discovering what that man means to his wife. Raimundo Nonato is more than just a plumber.
